Physical Therapist:

This position is accountable for producing the following result(s):

Strategic work: List of strategic work for which this position is accountable:

  1. Assist in developing new, more efficient systems for documentation and scheduling.

  2. Assist in identifying and developing highly targeted niche programs to better satisfy our current referral base and reduce the barriers to rehabilitation services.

Tactical work: List of tactical work for which this position is accountable:

 

  1. Complete patient evaluation and development of plan of care.

  2. Communicate with patient and physician concisely and professionally.

  3. Effectively communicate the plan of care to rehab team.

  4. Develop and review home exercise programs with patients.

  5. Facilitate and maintain >95% compliance with prescribed therapy. 

  6. Complete reassessments on patients as indicated by initial evaluation.  Update plan of care & home exercise program.

  7. Effectively communicate patient progress/status to referring physician.

  8. Complete discharge planning and summary.

 

Receptionist:  Our receptionist is the first line of communication for our clients.  This position requires a highly energetic individual that enjoys making conversation and interacting with a variety of individuals.  If you enjoy meeting new people and helping clients this may be the position for you.  Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma.  This position may be Part-Time, Full-Time, or Seasonal.  

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Greet all clients

  2. Answer all incoming calls

  3. Schedule all client appointments

  4. Handle faxing and email communications

 

Communications Manager: The Communications Manager’s (COMM MNGR) primary responsibility is to ensure open and clear communication within the organization.  This position requires strong organizational skills, clear verbal and written communication, and a knowledge of using email, internet searches, and instant messaging.  It also requires enthusiastic communication with clients via telephone and in-person.  This position is vital to the flow of information within and without our organization.  Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma  

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Collect and update client contact/demographic information

  2. Handle all faxing and email communications

  3. Sort and route all incoming and outgoing mail correspondence

  4. Keep all communications equipment properly maintained and operational

  5. Maintain internal calendar of events: i.e. scheduled vacations; holiday closings; confirming appointments, etc.

 

Communications Manager Assistant:  Assist COMM MNGR in all aspects of the position.  See Communications Manager job description above. Minimum Educational Requirement: None

 

Insurance Benefits Coordinator: The insurance benefits coordinator’s primary responsibility is to create a clear and concise explanation of our client’s insurance benefits to ensure comprehensive coverage of the services we provide while eliminating all unexpected fees.  This position requires strong analytical skills, persistent question asking, and detail organization.  Insurance plans are continuously changing and sometimes difficult to understand, therefore this position requires a person that enjoys the challenge of communicating with large insurance providers via telephone and accurately documenting detailed information.  Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma,  Associates Degree-(Recommended)

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Confirm client benefits and coverage information.

  2. Explain insurance benefits and billing procedures to all clients.

  3. Seek and maintain current treatment authorization from insurance and referring providers.

  4. Actively seek and establish new insurance provider contracts.

  5. Maintain and update insurance provider fee schedules and payment information.

  6. Appropriately route and update client insurance information and account status.

 

Billing / Collections Coordinator:  The B/C coordinator's primary responsibility is to ensure that our organization maintains a positive cash-flow.  This position requires a person with immaculate record keeping skills.  A history and knowledge of accounting principles and a working knowledge of accounting software is required.  The B/C manager must show strong time management skills, value deadlines and posses a desire to maintain a clear and concise record of client accounts.  Minimum educational requirement: Associates Degree

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Accurately enter daily charge into computer system.

  2. Collect over the counter payment for services rendered and correctly post payments to daily collections/income report.

  3. Prepare invoices for services rendered.

  4. Accurately tract and post production and collection totals: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.

  5. Maintain current client account reports and post 30/60/90 day accounts receivable.

 

Client Representative / Client Care Coordinator:  The client representative’s primary responsibility is to ensure that every client that receives the services of our organization is thoroughly and completely satisfied with their experience.  This position requires a person that is committed to ensuring that all of our clients receive an experience abundantly better than expected.  Strong interpersonal communication skills and an honest desire to help others are required for success in this role.  Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain client files for all current and past clients

  2. Track response to marketing efforts

  3. Assist clients in eliminating obstacles to treatment

  4. Explain our services to client and what may be expected

  5. Resolve client complaints

  6. Ensure client satisfaction

  7. Collect and post client satisfaction survey data

  8. Collect and post client results forms

  9. Initiate, develops, and organizes client recognition/appreciation programs.

    1. Maintain and send client birthday cards.

    2. Track and maintain client referral log.

    3. Track and send client thank you cards.

 

Professional Referral Coordinator:  The primary responsibility of the professional referral coordinator is to maintain our current referral relationships among physicians and establish new referral relationships to ensure the continued growth of our referral base.  This position requires a strong commitment to developing and sustaining the mission and reputation of our organization.  This position requires an individual that enjoys networking, has strong verbal and written communications, and enjoys developing innovative ways to make our services first in the mind of our professional referral base.  Minimum education required: Associates Degree

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Track and post current referral trends.

  2. Maintain historic referral data.

  3. Maintain and strengthen current referral relationships.

  4. Identify and procure new professional referrers.

  5. Identify new market opportunities.

  6. Organize educational seminars

  7. Keep current and potential referrers informed of existing services and programs.

  8. Establish cross referral/promotional relationships with non-physician referrers including personal trainers, massage therapists, fitness instructors, athletic trainers, etc.
